For those wine lovers who are looking for a sweet beverage that, not only tastes good, but is also 100% organic, meet Akamas and Karayiannis Commandaria. Created in small batches this wine is harvested, pressed, bottled and labeled by the same family who owns it. That's what makes it so special. Still not convinced? if, like me, you enjoy a good story behind your wine, this particular make (that can only be found on the foothills of Troodos mountains) is also coupled with an interesting fact – Commandaria represents a style documented back to 800 BC and has the distinction of being the world's oldest wine name still in production, with the name 'Commandaria' dating back to the crusades in the 12th century.

Labels are a big lure for me when it comes to picking my wine and so I wanted to design a label that defines what I believe will grab attention wherever it goes. I wanted it to look decorative and sophisticated while also keeping it simple and remaining true to the brand guideline.
